Princess Ōta
La princesse Ōta (大田皇女, Ōta no himemiko) (644? - 668?) est membre de la famille impériale japonaise durant la période Asuka. Elle est la fille ainée de l'empereur Tenji, la sœur ainée de la princesse Jitō ainsi que la mère de la princesse Ōku et du prince Ōtsu. Sa mère est dame Ochi dont le père est Soga no Kurayamada no Ishikawamaro.
De constitution fragile, elle meurt vers 668 quand la princesse Ōku est âgée de sept ans et le prince Ōtsu de cinq. Son corps est enterré le 27e jour du 2e mois de cette année-là, avec l'impératrice Kōgyoku et la tante d'Ohta, l'impératrice douairière Hashibito.

Princess Ōe
Princess Ōe (大江皇女, Ōe no himemiko) (died 699) was a Japanese princess who lived during the Asuka period. She was a daughter of Emperor Tenji. Her mother was Lady Shikobuko (色夫古娘), daughter of Oshiumi no Miyakko Otatsu (忍海造小竜). Ōe's siblings included Prince Kawashima and Princess Izumi.
Ōe married Emperor Tenmu and gave birth to two sons: Prince Naga and Prince Yuge. After Emperor Tenmu's death, they were qualified to become the next Emperor, but neither did.

Niitabe
Princess Niitabe (新田部皇女, Niitabe no himemiko) (died 699) was a daughter of Emperor Tenji in Japan during the Asuka Period. Her mother was Lady Tachibana, whose father was Abe no Kurahashi Maro. Her elder sister was Princess Asuka.
She was a consort (妃, Hi) of Emperor Tenmu. One of her sons, Prince Toneri, was promoted in the Imperial Court.

Princess Nukata (額田王, Nukata no Ōkimi; dates unknown, possibly fl. 630–690), also spelled Nukada, was a Japanese poet of the Asuka period.
The daughter of Prince Kagami and supposed younger sister of Princess Kagami, Nukata became Emperor Tenmu's favorite wife and bore him a daughter, Princess Tōchi (who would become Emperor Kōbun's consort).
A legend claims that she later became consort to Emperor Tenji, Emperor Tenmu's elder brother, but there is no evidence to support this claim.

Lady Ōnu (蘇我大蕤娘 Soga no Ōnu-no-iratsume; d. 6 August 724) was a Japanese noblewoman. She was the daughter of Soga no Akae and bunin to Emperor Tenmu, with whom she had three children:
- Prince Hozumi (穂積皇子) (d. 715)
- Princess Ki (紀皇女) (?–?)
- Princess Takata (田形皇女) (d. 728), Saiō in Ise Shrine (706–707), and married to Prince Mutobe later
